Is this Modern Standard Arabic or Emirati Arabic?
Emirati. Every word and sentence is the dialect spoken in the UAE, written the way people actually say it. Nothing in these books is textbook Modern Standard.
Do I need to read Arabic?
No. Every line leads with easy-to-read transliteration, with the Arabic underneath it and the English beside it. If you can read this sentence, you can read these books. The alphabet page at the front is there when you get curious about the script.
Is this a course?
No. These are interactive books you read and practise inside. The full Lsany course, taught day by day, is a separate product and it is coming soon.
