Privacy Policy

Information you provide directly:

• Account information (email address, display name)
• Purchase information you enter at checkout, such as your name and email for billing and receipts
• Email addresses submitted for free resources, waitlists, and marketing updates
• Marketing-consent records, including the wording and version shown to you and the date and time you opted in
• Messages you send us for support or enquiries
• For Lsany Kids: a first name or nickname and a colour for each child you set up, and your recorded parental consent. Never a date of birth, an age, a school, a photograph or a contact detail for a child. See Children and Lsany Kids for the complete list

Information created as you use the Courses:

• Learning progress, lesson completions, certificates, and private assessment results
• Short microphone recordings you choose to submit for pronunciation or Saqr practice, together with the transcript returned for that live interaction
• Employee-requested support category and status for business learners
• Your purchases and course entitlements

Information collected automatically:

• Device and browser information
• Site usage, performance analytics, and first-touch acquisition information only when you accept non-essential analytics
• IP address (for security, fraud prevention, and evidencing online marketing consent)

We do not collect or store your full payment card details. Card data is entered on and handled by our third-party payment provider (see “Payments” below).

We use the information we collect to:

• Process your purchase, grant course access, and send receipts
• Provide, maintain, and improve the Courses
• Personalize your learning experience and track your progress
• Process the short audio you submit to return a transcript, pronunciation feedback, or the next response in an AI practice interaction
• Provision business seats and assigned Emirati at Work training, calculate permitted training outcomes, and support employees who ask for help
• Respond to your enquiries and support requests
• Provide resources you claim and, where you explicitly opt in, send Lsany product updates, offers, and other marketing emails
• Analyze usage to improve our courses and site
• Detect and prevent fraud or abuse

We send marketing emails only after you actively submit an email form whose button and nearby wording clearly state that the action signs you up for Lsany marketing. Where a free resource is offered, a separate non-marketing download option remains available. We keep a record of the opt-in, including your email address, the consent wording and version, date and time, IP address, browser information, and signup source, so we can demonstrate when and how consent was given.

Marketing emails identify Lsany and include a free unsubscribe link. You may withdraw your consent at any time by using that link or emailing info@lsany.ae. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal, and we will stop using your email for future marketing.

Card payments for the Courses are processed by a third-party payment provider. When you pay, your card details are collected and processed directly by that provider on its secure, PCI-compliant systems. We receive confirmation of your payment and a transaction reference, but we do not receive or store your full card number.

Our payment provider acts as a data controller with regard to your payment instrument information and processes it under its own privacy policy.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us run the Courses, each bound to protect your data and use it only for the services they provide to us:

• Payment provider: secure card payment processing
• Cloud database & authentication provider: secure account and data storage
• Hosting & infrastructure provider: website hosting, delivery, analytics, and performance monitoring
• AI processing providers: speech-to-text and language processing that power pronunciation scoring and AI practice features
• Email delivery providers: receipts, account messages, and consented marketing emails
• Law enforcement or authorities where required by law

Some hosting, database, email, payment, speech-to-text, and AI providers may process personal data outside the United Arab Emirates. Where personal data is transferred or accessed across borders, we use appropriate contractual, organizational, and technical safeguards and assess the provider and purpose in line with applicable data-protection requirements. You may ask us for information about the categories of recipients and safeguards relevant to your data.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your personal information:

• Encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest
• Secure, encrypted cloud infrastructure
• Strict access controls, so you can only reach your own information
• Entitlement checks around paid course content and role-based access around business reporting
• Card details are handled only by our secure payment provider and are never stored on our systems

While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Courses:

• Account and learning progress: retained until you delete your account
• Private professional assessment outcome and score: retained with your account; selected answers and failed-attempt history are not stored in employer reporting
• Business membership, seat, assigned track, and shared outcome record: retained while needed to provide the organization’s plan and then deleted or de-identified, subject to legal and contractual retention requirements
• Company training briefs: retained while the organization uses the customization service or until an authorized administrator asks us to delete them, subject to legal requirements
• Microphone audio submitted for live practice: transmitted to the speech-processing provider for that request and not intentionally saved in the Lsany course database; the live Saqr transcript is not retained as an employer record
• Purchase and billing records: retained as required for accounting, tax, and legal compliance
• Site usage analytics: retained for up to 24 months
• Support communications: retained for up to 36 months
• Marketing contact and consent records: retained while we send marketing to you and as reasonably necessary to demonstrate consent and comply with legal obligations

After account deletion, your personal data will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (for example, transaction records for tax purposes).

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access: request a copy of your personal data
• Rectification: request correction of inaccurate data
• Erasure: request deletion of your personal data
• Portability: request a copy of your data in a machine-readable format
• Restriction or objection: ask us to restrict or stop certain processing where applicable
• Automated processing: ask for information about significant automated processing and exercise applicable rights
• Withdraw consent: stop direct marketing at any time, without charge

You can exercise your erasure and portability rights yourself, at any time, from your account page under “Privacy & data”: Export my data downloads a machine-readable copy, and Delete account permanently removes your account and associated learning data, except records we must retain by law. You can also email info@lsany.ae with the email address tied to your account. We will verify the request and respond within the period required by applicable law. You may also have the right to complain to the competent data-protection authority.

Most of what we sell is for adults. Our adult Courses are intended for users aged 13 and older, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13 through them. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has given us information through an adult Course, email info@lsany.ae and we will delete it.

Lsany Kids is different, and this section is about it. Lsany Kids is bought by a parent or legal guardian, for their own children, and it is designed so that we hold almost nothing about a child at all. We handle it in line with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 26 of 2025 on Child Digital Safety and the UAE Personal Data Protection Law.

Children do not have accounts

A child never holds an email address, a password, a recovery method or a login of their own. One purchase covers up to three children, and each child is a profile inside your account. There is no separate child account, nothing for a child to sign into, and no way for anyone to look a child up.

Everything we hold about a child

This is the complete list. There is nothing else.

• A first name or a nickname you type — so the child sees their own name on their own path. A nickname is fine and the field says so.
• A colour, one of six — so a child who cannot read yet can find their own profile.
• Whether the AI features are on for that child — the per-child switch you control.
• Which of the three profiles they are — so progress is kept apart.
• Which lessons they have finished, and their points — so the path knows where they are.
• Words they got wrong — so review works.

We do not ask for and do not store a date of birth, an age, a school, a photograph, an address, a phone number, or an email address for a child. We deliberately do not ask a child how old they are: collecting a birth date in order to prove we are allowed to collect less is the wrong trade, and nothing in the product depends on knowing it.

Your consent, and how to withdraw it

Before any of the above exists, you confirm at checkout that you are the parent or legal guardian of the children you are setting up and that you consent to us holding it. We record that consent against your account with the date and the version of this policy you agreed to, so that it can be produced if you ask for it.

You can withdraw consent at any time. Removing a child from your account deletes that child’s name, colour, settings and all of their progress immediately, and withdrawing consent removes all three. It is a control in your own account, not a support request. You can also email info@lsany.ae from the address on your account and we will do it for you.

Voice, camera and the AI features

Lsany Kids can listen to a child say a word, and it can name what a camera is pointed at. In both cases what is captured is used to answer that one moment and is then discarded. We do not store a recording of a child’s voice or a photograph from their camera, we do not keep them for training, and neither is retrievable afterwards by us, by you, or by anyone else.

A child is never graded on how they speak. There is no free text box anywhere in Lsany Kids: every conversation with Saqr starts from a scene we wrote, so there is no open prompt to steer.

No advertising, no profiling, nothing to buy

Lsany Kids carries no advertising of any kind, ours or anyone else’s. We do not load third-party analytics or marketing trackers on any Lsany Kids screen a child can reach. We do not sell, share or rent a child’s information, and we do not use it to build an audience, a profile or a segment for any purpose.

There is nothing to buy inside Lsany Kids. No prices, no upgrade prompts, no in-app currency, no loot boxes, no timed offers. Everything commercial happens on the parent’s side of the product, on a page a child does not see.

No other children, and nothing to report

Lsany Kids has no chat with other people, no comments, no uploads, no sharing, no friends and no leaderboard. A child cannot see anything another person wrote. If you do see something in Lsany Kids that concerns you, email info@lsany.ae and a person reads it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy here and change the “Last updated” date above. Where a change materially affects how we use personal data, we will provide an appropriate notice and seek consent when applicable law requires it.
